A little about Shelly's Cottages...
We are a small family owned and operated resort 4 miles
west of the small town on Lyons. We are 16 miles east
of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Centrally located between Boulder and Estes Park makes
us perfect for those wanted to visit most front range
areas of Colorado. We are only a little more then an
hour from Denver. Many of our guests spend a few days
in our Capital city, then spend several days in the
Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. We are
at 6000 ft so are perfect for those wanting to be in
the mountains but not able to stay at higher elevation
resorts. Enjoy the majestic Rocky Mountains during the
day then retreat form the busy tourist areas to a quiet
soak in the hot tub at night.
We have a total of 9 cottages. Four side by side duplexes and one stand alone unit. All of our cottages
have furnished kitchens, private bathrooms (with showers) and covered front porches. Seven of our 9
cottages have private outdoor hot tubs (no sharing here!). We have 5 acres of green lawns and colorful
gardens. River lights, BBQ grills lawn furniture and swings are spread over the entire property.
With over 900 feet of N. St. Vrain riverfront property you will surely find your own corner of the world
to enjoy the sounds of mother nature.
We are the perfect resort for romantic getaways, honeymoons,
anniversaries, birthdays and adult (13 years and older)
family vacations. Due to the location of our cottages,
we do have different requirements for groups.

Lyons has many fine restaurants to choose from. German,
Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Tex-Mex are just a few of
your choices. If going out isn't in the cards, then
enjoy your own cooking in our furnished kitchens. Please
